The first link was my shots with a defect lens that I returned. It was soft on the right side and was focus hunting. I have 300+ NX1 videos on YouTube shot with the S lenses and I always use Gamma DR with sharpening at zero +-0. Like Flip I want my videos as detailed as possible and I think one needs an up to date UHD 4K display to not see the artifacts that "oversharpening" are blamed for. No EE, macroblocking or noise with 4K shots.

I have a Panasonic 65" DX900 UHD TV and I sit 2 meters (6 feet 2 inches) from it which is a recommended viewing distance at cinemas and projection screens (1,5 width of the screen).

So funny, we are talking simultaneously here and on youtube.. ehhh

For my personal taste I prefer sharper images. I think most of the cameras 4k video is very soft, and paled. It kind of remind me old movies, or videos, that were recorded in a lower resolution. The NX1 is the only camera that offers the right level of sharpness out of the box for me, at its price range.

I thought my NX500 could do the same, but it can't :(. I watch some Nx500 videos and the level of sharpness is identical to the A6300, or to the Fuji x-T2, etc... so the NX1, for me, is kind of a unique in that department. In my case I love it
