M4/3 pro glass question

Gents ive have a G80 with the kit 12-60, ive also got the 25mm F1.7 and 45-200.

However this xmas I plan to buy my 85  years young dad the same unit as over time he's drifted off his Nikon D800E due to weight and loves his FZ300.

Anyway as part of my present to him, id like to give him some pro/good glass but I need a steer, im looking at standard ranges however more reach in 1 lens does appeal heres what ive got shortlisted

Olympus 12-40 £418 UK

Panasonic 12-60 F2.8-4 £800 UK sterling

Panasonic 12-35 F2.8 £800

Olympus 12-100 F4 £880

So my questions are

Is the 12-60 that much better IQ wise than the kit one, I presume it is but that kit isn't half bad in my book, also every review I see has it on the G9 of which ive ordered.

Only 12-100 appeals but a bit hefty any views on it, looks a stellar lens. that covers his 24/70 and 70/200 range too

12-35 seems good but its twice the cost of Olympus and surely not twice as good ?

All Panasonic lens will take advantage of dual IS, but I think 5 axis in body is enough if I went Oly

thanks people

P.S Any others I should look at, did think about the Noctoron but limited in what he can do
