I am having a particular and very frustrating problem with Windows 10 and MS Outlook 2013 that I am hoping someone here can help me with out with.

Recently, each time I try to open a hyperlink in Outlook, I get ...."Your organization's policies are preventing us from completing this action for you. For more info, contact your help desk."

Guessing that this was caused when I installed Firefox as an alternative to Google Chrome, I removed both of them and used the included MS Edge. Same results. I have searched the web a zillion times and tried most of the 'fixes' shown... except for resetting Internet Explorer which I could not find the .exe file for. So I reloaded Windows 10 overtop .. still no .exe file. !?!?! and no change in Outlook. :^(

The local Geek squad advised me that it was a server concern. Checked with them and was told that it wasn't from their end, it's MS Outlook concern. :^(

Before I pay the big bucks to MS, can anyone help?

I could be wrong, but I vaguely recall that the older Outlook is not compatible with Win 10.

Find the .exe file, and right click. You will see properties. Click on it. You will see a compatibility tab. Follow that and run the troubleshooter. There is also an option for "run in compatibility with" mode.
