Strange RAW artifact?

I just got a Sony A6000 and am having fun with it. Shot some night shots earlier, at ISO 100. I notice on one of my shots that when I boost the shadows (in Lightroom) though, I am getting this strange artifact (see above the head of the statue):

The original RAW file is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pbw6a7lgem8fq89/DSC00194.ARW?dl=0

Any idea why this is happening? Is this the result of RAW compression of the A6000? I do not notice this in my other images, which makes it all the more stranger.
