M10 auto settings seem to be very wrong

My M10 with a Voigtlander f1.5/50mm lens (no 6-bit coding, manually selected Leica's f1.4/50mm Sumilux), is not behaving the way I expect. If I set the aperture very wide (i.e. 1.5), ISO and shutter speed both to Auto, in low light the camera selects settings between about ISO 100-640 and shutter speeds between 1/2 and 1/15 seconds. This couldn't be right in common situations. ISO should be much higher and shutter speeds much faster. As it stands I'm forced to manually select ISO in order to get reasonable shutter speeds.

Am I missing something or is this what I should expect with the M10?
