:)) first i order the 50mm F1.8D and Then 50mm F1.8G . The D new and the G used. both almost the same price. When the D arrive i will sell it straight away and keep the G version. I read that the G version is better optically so i will keep this version to use both in fuji and nikon.
Both the D and G are very good, the G is slighly better optically but you won't really see the difference in "real life".
Another one thought in my mind is if i dont keep the nikon i can sell it and sell the tamron 17-50 and its place i will buy the nikkon 17-55 f2.8 they say is better optically and fuji needs good lens. but with tamron i am very very happy.
I would keep the Tamron if I were you. The Nikkor is too big and heavy.
Another one though is the fuji mirroless. it seems that a lot of people they start to buy it. The high iso performance is similar to last generation full frames and they have beautiful colors and easy to carry body.
That's what I did almost 4 years ago, and I don't regret it.
The high ISO performance is better than the D700, which was very good in this department. What's really impressive with Fuji X's high ISO is that not only you have little noise, but colours and dynamic range are still very good. When I was using the D700, the dynamic range was limited at high ISO (3200 and 6400), and the colours weren't very good.
A Fuji X-T20 with a good set of lenses would replace all your current gear, and you would have all the qualities you're looking for in one system : colours, AF speed and accuracy, high ISO, very good rendering for portraiture (some of Fuji best primes are amazing for portrait : 35 F/1,4, 56 F/1,2, 90 F/2).
