A7Riii reported to be star-eater free

I downloaded the 10sec RAW file (which is 20sec according to the EXIF).

Here's a crop of the undebayered raw:

It clearly shows stars trailing. The trailed stars are therefore much larger than a 2x2 block of pixels so they are protected from any "Star Eater" spatial filtering that may or may not exist.

In other words, by looking at the stars this test is inconclusive.

However, separating out the 4 channels, 2 channels (the red and blue) show obvious pixel pairing from spatial filtering and the other 2 channels (the greens) have been spatially filtered together. It has all the hallmarks of the algorithm in the ARII v4.0 firmware.
