Noisier than the SD15, but good resolution and good colors when in lo-res.

I have printed 24"x36" posters from hi-res and lo-res quattro shots, finding the only difference to be the resolution, but that's just me. Others will disagree. I shoot lo-res quite a bit (on the rare occasions when I use the camera) and like it a lot.

Focus issues do not exist anymore. SD15 and SD1 had them but not the sd Quattro.

Using lenses not in "the Holy Sigma List" can be done if you stay with full aperture and focus manually.

Unfortunately it is not possible to stop down any electronic lens full-time, so focus shift with aperture cannot be dealt with at all. With Global Vision Lenses we have firmware, but still no way to stop the lens down full time.

The sd Quattro is flat out excellent with fully manual legacy lenses:
