Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 for D7100?
I noticed that used prices were pretty good on the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens, full model name: Tamron AF 28-75mm f/2.8 SP XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) with Built-In AF Motor for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras (Model A09NII)
I use my camera for shooting my daughter's indoor gymnastics meets, and this range would actually be long enough in many situations, especially if I'm using the D7100's 1.3x crop mode to boost the frame rate.
Anybody have experience with this lens? Would the focus on this lens keep up with shooting bursts? Any other worthy alternatives?
