I'm fairly new to the Canon T2i so bear with my ignorance here. I've had many years of shooting 35mm with mostly manual settings so I do have some basic understanding of shutter speeds, ISO, and f-stops.

Here's my question. I took multiple shots of the same mountain lake image however some were Full Auto, some were in Av mode, some were in Tv mode and some were in Landscape mode.

Now that I'm comparing all the images in Photoshop and even the Digital Professional Photography program, I'm stumped at how to figure out the particular shooting mode for a given image.

What are the magic words that I need to say to be able to bring this info into view for each image?

I can't tell you about Photoshop, but in Canon's Digital Photo Professional 4, simply right-click on any thumbnail image or the image open for editing and select "Info" at the bottom of the list.  Shooting mode is about the 7th item from the top.

Hope this helps.
