Hi Peter, absolutely fair point.  I am not an electrical or any other kind of engineer.  I confess that I have 100% no idea how this works or why it works.  I just decided to implement a process that others reported had success since the alternative was a busted camera or being out $250 USD (probably close to $300 CAD for me, after shipping).  If it turns out it's placebo or even jostling the mount that does it, I will gladly accept it.  I feel like I just resurrected a dead camera even if I just used voodoo!
