Auto focus seems fine, it is quite fast as long as you are not going from up close to infinity where I guess it has to search a bit. But for simple refocusing I think it worked fine. Make no mistake the lens is big and heavy but I only had to walk 35 feet from the back door of the cabin to take these, I would not take it back packing!

As a whole, I have been pleased with the overall sharpness of the images, both with the M and my DSLR.

I recently tried my 135mm 1.8 on a newly acquired 200D (or SL2), and focussing on that was very fast, and focus was spot on.  It's a phenomenal lens.
