A m4/3 owner ready to buy the fuji s5 pro for playing around?

It appears that (apart from motion blur) the lens you're using on the S5 is not a great copy.

However, shooting at 200mm at 1/160 will probably cause softness due to motion blur - I will shoot at 1/400 or faster at 200mm to prevent that happening.

That's what I told the OP, the S5 with it's strong AA filter has to HAVE very sharp lenses to get cleaner images, and those slow shutter speeds will not help. Crank them up baby!

FYI, some of the zoom variable aperture lenses I first started using on the S5 were front or back focusing. When I put on the Nikon 17-55 2.8 it worked PERFECTLY. So watch out for that.

Before giving up on the camera - test the camera with a different lens or lenses and see what happens.

I remember that I was initially also disappointed with my S5Pro when I got it (coming from a Canon DSLR), but once I got to know the camera better my images improved to the point where I was quite happy with it. The same thing happened when I got my D700, at first I thought that it performed poorly compared to the S5, but after a while things got a lot better and the D700 turned out to be one of the best cameras I ever had.

So, don't give up just yet - try different lenses and get more familiar with the camera and shooting with a DSLR. Remember that the smaller sensor of m43 is somewhat more 'forgiving' when it comes to sharpness. It is far easier for me to get pin sharp images with my EM10 than with any of my bigger-sensored cameras!

The S5Pro has some quirks and may lack in some areas compared to newer DSLRs, but lack of sharpness has never been an issue.

Thank you for your answer. your suggestions looks very helpful. with the s5 i would like to buy a lens that will cover me in different way that the Em10.  for m43 i have 12-40 f2.8 25mm 1.7  45mm f1.8 75mm 1.8 and now i ordered the 35-100 f3.5 panasonic. so i am covered in terms of quality lens. also the lens that comes iwth the s5 the nikon 28-200 ad af altough is  old lens and not produce great quality photos can cover a long distance and can be very helpfull when you need an all around lens without changing lenses. For The s5 i i would like to use a lens that will cover me more than 12-40. lets say 18-65 or 18-70  or even 18-55 in terms of m43. so it i calculate for apsc an ideal for me it will be 27-90 for example.i said about this focal length so i will be able to do street photography and in the long length some portrait too with good background.
