Re: Sensor Cleaning can be a challenge

Wow...once a month cleaning..!

I've had my currently oldest camera Canon 6D for over 2 years now.  95% of its use is out doors in less than ideal conditions.  Haven't yet had to do any cleaning..!  And this is with the dreaded "push-pull" lenses.  Have I in the past needed to clean a sensor...yes.  My old Canon 40D needed it 2 or 3 times a "year" as did my older 10D.

Have you got the "sensor cleaning" turned on in your camera ?  The sensor "shakes", both upon start-up and shut down.  Since The manufacturers designed this into their bodies, I've yet to notice any of those odd round dots in the sky (yes, even at 100% and more).  Do a cleaning, then verify the sensor cleaning is "on"...see how things go from there.
