Not necessarily a dirty sensor - the reflex mirror and the OVF viewing screen are what you're seeing through the OVF, but neither of those have anything to do with what appears on the final image, because the reflex mirror flips out of the way when you press the trigger.

To check for dirt on the sensor, close the lens down to its smallest aperture - probably f/22 - switch to manual focus (because no camera will be able to auto focus on what you should shoot), and sh0ot a picture of something completely featureless - sky shots are the easiest, doesn't matter whether clear blue or overcast.  Then review the picture, and any marks showing there are to do with dirt on the sensor array.

If you see those, it's still not 100% necessary to do (or have done) a sensor clean - if you're going to be shooting at wide apertures mostly, they will probably never actually show in your photos.
