hello guys:) currently i own an olympus omd E-m10 with some nice lenses like 12-40 F2.8, 25mm F1.7 , 45mm F1.8 and 75mm F1.8. Olympus was my first dslr type camera and although with smaller sensor i am very happy in terms of quality especially with the nice lens. One guy here in my place he selling his old Fuji S5 pro with a 80-200 F3.5 nikon lens. The price is for both 250 euro and including the grip with the batteries. I make some research and if found that is 10 years old camera. i never had a fuji or nikon or canon or any other " big " dslr. I read that for portraits this camera is great. The price of this camera is very good too as i am thinking to buy it so i can play around with it. My question is it worth to buy such a camera also i can use it in portrait photography too. I am worry about somethings i read like the camera is slow that the camera have 6mp sensor etc. what you think about this?

The S5Pro was quite a camera in it's day, based on a Nikon D200 body (and compatible with Nikon lenses) but with a Fuji sensor. It was renowned for it's colour (as is the case with Fuji cameras today) and excellent dynamic range. It was a very popular camera for wedding photographers because of it's good dynamic range.

Yes, it was somewhat slower in operation than it's competitors, but otherwise it was a great camera to have and use. I have friends that are still using S5Pros to this day, and sometimes I regret getting rid of mine.

If the camera you're looking at is in very good condition, then it will be a fun camera to have.

It produces 12mp images since it's sensor is a 6+6mp sensor, mening that it has 6mp small sensors, combined with 6mp larger sensors that combines to give you a 12mp image. It used a very unique sensor which was designed for high dynamic range.

hello jackue. Thank you very much for the kind answer. the camera is in like new condition and will come with nikon 80-200 f3.5 lens. i suppose this lens is not the best but i can sell it ( as is goes cheap ) and buy a sigma 17-50 or 17-70  as i read those lenses are very good and not expensive. i suppose is very good price and if i dont like it i can always sell it. so you think that is a good buy ?
