Canon 70-200 f4 non-IS vs Tamron 70-200 f2.8 vs Tamron 70-200 f2.8 G2

Hi,

I ordered a Canon 70-200 f4 (non-IS) yesterday and having second thoughts about it. I did a comparison on dxomark and the first gen Tamron seems sharper than the Canon f4 and I imagine the G2 to have at least the same IQ. Also the Tamrons have the all-praised stabilisation.

I got a good deal with the Canon, at $600. I can get a deal on the first gen Tamron at about $900 on the grey market and the G2 is $1540, but I guess it will be on sale sometime in the future.

Also, at the moment I have a 450D, but I want to upgrade to a full frame in the future. 5DmkIII maybe, or even IV if I can get it at a good price.

What do you think about these lenses? Do you have any experience with them? Should I return the f4 and get a Tamron?
