How is the low light focusing on fujis nowadays?

I tried xt10 and xt1 some time back and ultimately somewhat of a pain processing files and waxy  skin above iso 800 or about made me go back to nikon. I just shot bunch of photos of a newborn for my stepdaughter and i had heck of the time with d4 and 24 1.4G tamron 45 1.8 and 85 1.4G. In room lit with natural light coming thru big sliding door it just hunted and hunted with all 3 lenses. It was not fun really. Would any camera with xtrans 3 sensor ( xpro 2 xt20 or xe3)  and some primes make it much more pleasant and effective in nailing the shot  without hunting like crazy?

Thanks
