Thinking of Canon's releasing G1X III
G1x Mark III looks like a mixture of G5X and M5.
G1X3 looks better than M5+15-45/18-55. It is compact and weather sealed. It must be so because the former is more expensive than the latter.
If one is satisfied with one simple, slow lens like 15-45, G1mk3 is a better option because of its compactness even at its higher price. In other words, if you have money, take G1X3; otherwise M100+15-45.
Then here is my thought.
Is Canon finally going to be interested in fast lenses for M system?
Or that area is still left to the adapted L lenses?
PS. What are other APS-C compact cameras on market?
