I don't know if we are going to have a good foilage this year in New York. I see most of the trees are still green, but some are shedding bare and some brown without too much of the orange and deep yellow, normally around this time of the year.
I went up to my favorite spot in Pound Ridge Reservation 10 minutes before sundown yesterday. I decided to try my new 80-400mm instead of using the 35-70mm which I normally would shoot landscape. The longer lens gave me some new perspective, like zooming into the particular spot which show more color.
