DDU for general non-problem NVIDIA driver updates?

Do you all use DDU even when you just want to update a video driver you’re not actually having problems with but simply want to update? I’m curious because I pretty much only ever see DDU referenced when people are having fairly significant issues. For additional context, I really don't care for the GeForce Experience and do not run it.

I’m very much a proponent of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” when it comes to video drivers. That said, I’m still currently running drivers for my GeForce 1070 that theoretically were never blessed for the Original Win 10 Creators Update. Never had any issues with them post CU so I never updated. I’m just gathering info in case I see indications I should update for the new Fall Creators Update.
