How to Evolve from 70D + EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM

I've been shooting with this combination, and have been generally happy with it, for some time. I photography marching band performances all through our season (July to December), so lighting conditions vary from full daylight to "Friday night lights" during football. I'm frequently pushing the ISO to 3200 (or more), and trying to keep shutter speed high because the marchers are in constant motion. Most of my favorite shots fall between 100 and 200 mm.

So, I'm considering upgrade paths. I thought I'd start with the lens, and perhaps add the 70-200 f/4 IS L (or, the f/2.8 non-IS L), rather than replace the 70D with a full-frame model (I was considering the 5D MIV).

Thoughts?
