Sony 16-35 2.8 on a6500?
Currently using Sigma 35 1.4 art with MC-11 adapter and love it however for video work the AF is quite loud and it's not wide enough in many situations.
Im now considering adding the Sony Gmaster 16-35 2.8. I would like to invest in FF lenses with the intention to move to a FF camera in the future. For now I am enjoying the a6500 (along with my a6300) compact body as I travel a lot. I do have the 16-50 kit lens that I use on a gimbal and for wide shots that is ok but thought I could do better.
Would there be any drawbacks to sticking this 16-35 2.8 on my a6500 for my 4K video? The 16-35 does overlap with the Sigma 35 1.4 but I'm guessing the Sigma will perform better than Sony at the 35MM end of things. Is the 16-35 AF quiet?
