Autofocus can always be improved, and I’m pretty sure that when the XT3 has been out for a while the AF on the XT2 will be chuckled at knowingly too - but in half decent light I have no problem with the XT1 and it can track some action ok. It’s only when the light levels drop that things slow down and become a little unreliable.
My biggest annoyance with the XT1 is those waxy skintones in jpegs at high iso - which is a backwards step from the XP1. They start to become visible at anything over 1600 but 3200 is the absolute limit for me.
Yeah, I’ve never had a complaint about the speed of navigating the menus. It has always seemed quick to me.
