Studio strobe vs on-location strobe (battery powered)

I'm thinking about buying my first set of strobes, and having a tough time deciding between a 2-light battery-powered kit (Bowens XMT500), or, a 2-light studio kit (Bowens XMS500), which I assume plugs into a regular wall outlet.

One concern I have with the battery-powered lights, is the longevity and replacement cost of the li-ion batteries. If someone can comment on typical life expectancy of a li-ion battery, it will be much appreciated.

I don't necessarily need "battery powered", since I'd mostly be using these strobes at home,,, but it certainly would be great to have that portability of the battery powered lights for location shoots.

Here's the lights I'm looking at;

I'm also considering mixing a couple of sets,,,,, 2 battery powered lights, and,,,, two A/C wall-outlet powered lights.
