Hand blending files extracted from a SFD Stack
3

I went to a local park with a friend on Sunday and tried to shoot some SFD files on the sd Quattro.  I made the mistake of trying to hand hold the shots and got really bad shaky results.  SPP does not correct non-aligned images and with my shaky hands rubbish in the final images.  I extracted 2 to 3 X3F  files from each stack, converted them to Tiff files, and processed in Lightroom or Photoshop, both of which do a good job of aligning frames.  Below are 3 example of the results of this procedure.  all shot with the sd Quattro and the 18-35 mm Art lens.

PS. Next time I try SFD I definitely will use my tripod!
