What to do?

I am in a predicament. My D5200 was dropped recently and as a result the focus, while still sharp, always misses and focuses about 3-6 inches behind my subject. I'm wondering if anyone here has had this issue and knows how to fix it. I'm possibly thinking of getting something a little newer, but I'm not sure what. If I go the new camera route, I could afford the D5600 or, if the extra features were worth it, the D7200. A little guidance from people that have had one or both of these cameras would be greatly appreciated.
