My RX10 Mark 4 goes birding ..Part 2 (Portraits)

Little Owl.

And this next one is probably my favourite non-flying photograph

Buteo Buteo, the Common Buzzard here in the UK

European Eagle Owl

Pere Lanner.

This simply gorgeous bird is a cross between a Peregrine Falcon and a Lanner Falcon. These are the Formula 1 birds with a speed of up to 200mph when in a dive. Photographing them in flight was, to say the least "entertaining".

and finally, a couple more in-flights photographs, both previously unpublished here. Both are from bursts and I do not know whether they are 100% right on focus, there are far better eyes on this excellent forum than mine to judge that.
I have added them because the birds, a Buzzard and then a European Eagle Owl, are conveying grace and power and concentration to me.

Nothing much done in post in all these other than adjusting exposure and highlights in a couple.  The last one could do with a bit of tidying, getting rid of the rug for a start.

Growing old is inevitable; growing up, however, is optional.
And I have opted out.
