I am an A7R2 user, who struggled to pay for a recent body upgrade from an A7. I found that my voigtlander heliar 15 F4.5 wasn't as good as a 17mm Tamron Adaptall, and that my zeiss zoom was only slightly better a Minolta 35-70 zoom. Both of these lenses are leaving to help pay off the A7R2 body.

I bought the 35 Zeiss for the sony and it is an amazing lens, my success with vintage leads me to ask though, about best bang for the buck at the 28, and 35mm size.

Right now I have a wards 24mm 2.8 that seems ok.

A vivitar 28 2.8 that is pretty good.

I dont have a 35 other than the zeiss.

So what would folks here recommend for bargain basement (<$50, and a bit more <$200). Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Mark

$20.oo HOYA  seems OK to me.

Cheers.
