Snapbridge - full resolution images and WiFi connections

Unlike many people, it seems, Snapbridge is sort of working for me - straight out of the box. I have the app running on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and it connects every time and transfers images automatically, reliably and, of course, horribly slowly...

That's not a major problem for me as, at work, the D850 is always going to the a second/third body with the bulk of shots going to the tablet from a D5 and D4S via WT-5 and WT-6.

What I am struggling with is that I can't seem to transfer anything other than 1080p images - the full-size option is greyed out - and I can't connect via WiFi either to use the tab as a remote or to transfer specific images. It tries to make a WiFi connection, then says it has failed (at which point - very briefly - the tab appears to be connected to the camera's WiFi).

Anyone else seen similar and - hopefully - found solutions?
