80d video.shoot help

I own a canon 80d for some.time and i am very happy with.it..i use it.for all kinds of photos

I am planning to do a couple of video.clips with 2 girls belly dancing next to each other..

I never shot a video before with my 80d this would be my.first time

Do i need to keep the shutter button half pressed all the time for the video.to be in focus during movement? Or should i just press the start button for video and the dual pixel will keep focus all the time?

Also what video format is best to use.for.maximum quality?* (60 fps...30fps) ?

And a last question i will do the video during day.time outdoor under the trees.for shade..

What aperture is best.to use? Is it better.to have the camera on p-program mode or m-manual?

Canon EOS 80D
