Viewfinder for hotshoe?

When using pinhole caps in certain lighting, it's impossible to know if the camera aimed in the proper direction.  Is there something like a very inexpensive viewfinder, one that might attach to the hotshoe?  It doesn't even need optics; just a plastic tube might be sufficient, like on a telescope.
