Four mountains and a waterfall in one day
10

Went on a day trip to check out the fall colors at some of the higher elevations around.  There were patches of really nice color but not developing very much yet, so I focused on the mountains and a waterfall I stopped to visit.  It was quite the day.

Mt Rainier from the popular viewpoint heading up White Pass

Mt Hood from Baby Shoe Pass in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest

Mt St Helens

And before I show the fourth mountain, here are the falls I visited.  It was very cold and I didn't have gloves

Iron Creek Falls

Mt Adams

Mt Adams - the middle ground was not clearly in focus but it turned out okay anyway

Mt Adams - by this point I was using ISO400 and much of the foliage details in the foreground turned to mush because of the failing light

Mt Adams

Mt Adams - wild turkeys to the left
