Worth attempting to repair submerged X100?

I own an X100 which I just dropped into a fast flowing creek while backpacking over the weekend. Upon initial inspection, the optical viewfinder and LENS were filled with water. Yes, filled. I then proceeded to shake it out over the next hour; and have subsequently had it warmed in my oven buried in rice for several hours spread out over several days.

Now, while the visible water is gone, camera turns and such but the aperture blades are stuck in place, closed no matter what I do.

My question has anybody had experience with an X100 and such a calamity and should I risk the expense of getting it serviced and cleaned only to find out it's a goner?

I can get a used, 9/10, X100 that has the SAB fix already for $320 or a 9/10 X100S for $475.

Thanks, Steve
