Have all three. Never use the 85mm because, while it's good, I prefer to use my L lenses. Basically keep it in case of emergency.  I tend to just skip from my 50L to the 135L, although I'll probably fill that gap once the reviews are in for the new 85L that's coming.  Portrait image quality for the 100L macro is great, but as someone else said, it focuses very slow compared to the others. Frustratingly so.

The 135L is probably my favorite portrait lens. Use it whenever possible. Just something special about the image quality it produces. Outstanding bokeh, and perfectly sharp, even wide open. And it provides my favorite sun flares, if you're a fan of backlit natural light portraits.
