Mosai Canada. Chance to use my old 17-55 IS

Here is another high quality lens I have not used much of until just now. The Canon 17-55 2.8 IS lens is sharp wide open. We have an exhibition starting this summer called Mosai Canada put together for Canada's 150th.

Beautiful floral sculptures are a visual treat. I find the snapping of photos means a less enjoyable experience. Why? You don't spend enough time admiring the details of each sculpture. But taking photos means I get to share which is the whole point of photography.

Located just across the Portage Bridge from downtown Ottawa on Rue Laurier next to the Museum of Civilization in Gatineau, Quebec. Well worth it. This is the last week before the exhibition closes for good.

Even the 17-55 IS is not wide enough sometimes. Next time I'm bringing the Canon 11-22

This floral sculpture celebrates the hard working lobster fishermen on the east coast of Canada. Taken with the 7D MK2 and 17-55 2.8 IS. Didn't have time to use a polarizer. Lots of people in the way so hard to get a clear photo as it's a very popular exhibition with over 1 million visits so far.

Thanks for looking.
