Agreed. I do a lot of portraiture and the Quattro skin tones are much better than any I got out of my long-gone DP3 Merrill, which were ghastly.

Any particular type of skin tones or were they all bad? (just bought a DP2M, hence the question).

SPP Settings below, that worked the best for me for flattering skin tones/detail with the DP2M.

Chroma NR slider position : 1

Luminance NR slider position: 3 or 4

Sharpness slider: -1.3

It's best to have a correct custom white balance if possible (too greenish with all the default WB) especialy with the DP1M and DP2M.

The DP3M has far better color in that regard.
