Thanks..I will purchase the latest 18-55 STM lens..How u tell if it's version 3.5 or 4?
I do have a Zoom H1, which I plug in Roland CS-10EM for binaural sound. Currently I manual sync the video/audio in my video editing program.
I was looking how to plug that into DSLR mic input (so I don't have to sync) but don't know how, as Zoom H1 mic already plug in CS-10EM.
Hi Brent, it isn't the version. The 3.5/4 is the opening f/stop at the 18mm focal length. It should say on the lens or in the add. Either is good, Just make sure it's the STM version of either.
I haven't used the Zoom. I know some other ones such as the Tascam DR 60 can do (both xlr/3.5) Mic to Pre amp then back into Camera. How the quality of this is, I dunno... and that is probably overkill. I would just stick with what you are doing for sound then.
