Re: no real future

I am not advocating for a full frame future, or for any other specific sensor size. The point is that truly equivalent lenses are basically the same size, regardless of sensor size. No one sesnor size is inherently better than any other size. Everyone needs to choose there own system that best balances their own needs. Until Canon builds a 24-70mm f5.6-10 full frame zoom, the equivalent EF-M 15-45mm f3.5-6.3 will always have a size advantage. Since so many in these forums don't completely grasp equivalence, I don't know how Canon could convince the less informed general public that f10 doesn't suck on full frame.

Best regards

Exactly, I hope Canon will support their EF M platform with proper native lens of high quality, and not rely on the EF lens lineup as an excuse, like they are doing with the EF-S platform.

Using FF lens on aps-c MILC will put Canon at a huge weight and size disadvantage compared to other mirrorless systems.
