Iceland, A farewell tour for my DF.
22

Recently finished 10 day drive around Iceland, was hoping the D850 would be released before I left, but it came out just after we finished.

So this was my farewell tour for the DF. I have an 850 now, and it is better in every way (except weight), so will be using that for all my serious photography.

All photos except the last one were taken with the DF, and either the Nikon 20mm F1.8 or the Nikon 24-70 F2.8 (non VR). Used a Tripod for most images, and Lee / heliopan filters when required.

I am still on the road so have only edited on my small laptop, when I get home to my big screen computer will do some proper editing.

Hope you enjoy, and I look forward to sharing D850 images down the track.

Looking down on to Reykjavík.

Stunning landscapes.

The petrified trolls of Vik (with 70-200)

Harp seals chilling on glacial icebergs.

Ice on the black sand beach.

A waterfall worth the hike, Litlanesfoss in Eastern Iceland

Godafoss waterfall

Extremely windy day at the Hvítserkur rock. Managed to get a good 2.5 sec exposure.

Had to get a shot of the Icelandic Ponies.

Prob my favourite, the stunning black church of Budir.

Postcard Perfect.

Boats in the harbour at Stykkishólmur

So many waterfalls, it is hard to pick a favourite.

100deg water in this geyser, don't get too close.

Evening driving, with Canon G7X
