Fogging lens.

I'm headed down to the Amazon River & rain forest soon. For obvious reasons, I cannot leave my kit outside unattended, but when I step outside, the lens goes foggy for 10-15 min. Any suggestions here? Amazon (the retailer, not the river) has an anti-fogger called Zooke Z-wax that they claim... "Perfect for High-end Optics including Camera Lenses, Scopes, Binoculars or any Special Coated Lens."

I guess I it won't be the end of the world if it damages a UV filter,...but still, who needs that?

Any experiance with this or other fixes to this challenge?
