Nikon P900 low light performance

Many reviewers of Nikon P900 say it doesn't perform well in low light. But what does that mean exactly? Is it at long end zooming that the lens aperture (it's a bit slow there like many superzooms) forces you to use long shutter times that make images blurred? Or is it overall noisy above a certain ISO setting, and if so, when does the noise get annoying? Or is it something else, like the lens losing contrast and definition below a certain amount of daylight?

Or do the reviewers mean something else? Just curious because it comes up in many reviews.
