35mm for travel? Not wide enough, not close enough and soft at close focus etc. ?? Or not!

There was this fabulous thread some time ago where a guy from Scandinavia posted images taken "only" with an X100T. I had done similar experiments (which they were at the time) and found that I had no problems using "just" the 35mm FF equivalent.

So to maybe also illustrate what I do with a 35mm I will post some images here, a lot in fact as a singular image might still be dismissed as an exception rather than something that might work across the board.

Landscapes?? Portraits?? Macros? Anyway for what it's worth here we go. Photos taken in New Zealand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Nepal, China and India:

My take on the 35mm focal length is:

GO FOR IT!!! As it is far more versatile as one might think.
