I shot a very small concert last night with my X-T2...

and it didn't go very well.  The camera struggled in low light at high ISO and need significant work in post.

Part of this isn't entirely my fault.  I've shot shows before and typically flashes are not allowed, as they blind the artist(s) and distract from the show.  However, this was basically an underground showcase where the crowd and the stage constantly and seamlessly blending together, so those that brought flashes benefited, as they were allowed to use them, and those that didn't (myself and a couple of others) had some shots straight up ruined by others' flashes firing.

To be honest, though, I am sort of unimpressed with the outcome of the shots I got anyway.  While some of my issues could have been out of my control (extremely low light and a TON of subject movement), I'll assume that most of my lack of success is due to user error.  I shot with the 16mm F1.4 wide open at ISO 6400 (sometimes needing to go as high as 10,000) and shutter speeds ranging from 160-250.  I shot with single point AF and center weighted metering.

Maybe my expectations are too high for the X-T2 compared to a full frame sensor low light specialist like the A7S, or maybe I don't fully understand just how difficult low light photography is (for reference, I've been shooting for only a year and half and have shot shows before, but have never been in this exact situation), but I'd love to hear your thoughts or tips on mitigating very low light situations with a lot of movement and no flash.  I know concert photography is very difficult to master because of some of the points I've mentioned above, but has anyone else had similar issues with the X-T2?  Any tips for live or post to share?
