The 24-70 dollar question| Nikon G/E, Tamron G2, or Sigma Art?

Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G ED

Pros: Sharper than the new nikon 24-70 generation, fast and accurate AF.

Cons: The infamous never-ending zoom ring problem, pilling rubber, still high price for new copy, no VR.

Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR

Pros: equal sharpness across all frame, renering and colors, VR, fastest AF than all others.

Cons: softness at center, extremely exaggerated price, the haviest than all others.

Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 G2

Pros: good AF speed, lower price than a new copy of the an nikon 24-70, better VC.

Cons: numerous problems of AF tuning, usb-dock is nearly a must-buy, many stories of recalibration need, weeker at 50mm+.

Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Art

Pros: good AF speed, VR, lower price than a new copy of an old nikon 24-70.

Cons: weeker at 24mm, Tamron G2 tends to have better IQ.

Which one would you choose?

Still after so many time of thinking, I can't point out which lens is preferable over the others?

Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2
