I bought a Panasonic GX8 for the video capabilities. From a camera standpoint the takes pretty good stills. But before I invest in more lenses, is micro 4/3 on its way out. Seeing as Crop sensor Mirrorless is on the rise

I have both m4/3 and APS-C systems but my m4/3 system is growing fast. I am getting tired of the APS-C system due to size and weight. I am also very excited about the availability of really great quality and fast fixed. The similar set of lenses for my APS-C costed me significantly more. This is the result of competition between Panasonic, Olympus and Sigma. While I am still hoping mirrorless APS-C, lenses will still be larger and heavier, not something I look forward to.

I am actually seriously considering selling off my APS-C and invest in MF. The market is not quite matured yet. I think in the next "few" years, competition will drive the cost down to levels I can afford.
