masking in viewfinder according to chosen aspect ratio: 5Ds vs 5DMarkIV

I typically compose squares and I require the ability to look in the viewfinder and see the boundaries of the square, with the outlying parts of the 1:1 area masked or not shown. I've depended on this feature which is present in the electronic viewfinders of most mirrorless cameras. I am making the jump to full frame and choosing between a 5Ds and 5DMarkIV. According to the following page it appears that the 5Ds has the feature I want:

http://support-th.canon-asia.com/contents/TH/EN/8202610100.html

It states that when a given aspect ratio is selected, "The shooting area in the viewfinder will be masked or have frame lines."

I have not been able to find documentation stating whether the 5DMarkIV has the same ability to show a masked image in the viewfinder. The "Note" in this link seems to suggest that it doesn't, but I'm not quite sure: http://support-th.canon-asia.com/contents/TH/EN/8203028100.html

Can someone clarify whether this viewfinder masking feature is specific to the 5Ds or whether the 5DMarkIV has it too? To clarify, I am asking specifically about the image seen in the viewfinder, not the LCD. Thanks in advance for any info on this!
