Quicker way to organize/cull 5 shot brackets?

So right now I shoot a ton of 5 bracket shots. I also convert more than half of them to tiffs, and then run them all through photomatix (this is the way the client wants it done). It's incredibly time consuming. Trying to cull through the images before they are merged is also time consuming since I have to sort through them in groups of 5.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to tell lightroom to just stack every 5 images. Auto stacking by time isn't perfect since the time between shots is too inconsistent.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a faster way to cull through the unmerged images? That way I can cut down on the number of images that have to be converted to tiffs/processed in photomatix.
