Dead before its time
My SB-900 appears to have died. When I turn it on, nothing happens. I have tried multiple sets of batteries but no sound, no lights. I'll bet I have taken far less than 500 flashes with it so it has been very lightly used. It may have sat for the last 6 months with out using. I remember on the old flashes, the capacitor may need to be reformed after long periods of inactivity but I did not think modern units suffered from this problem. I was hoping to use it in 3 weeks.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what can be done to fire up this flash?
