D750 problems with high ISO

Hi all,

I got Nikon D750 camera for a while now. Every time I am trying to elevate the ISO at least to 650 or so, I am getting horrible noise. I find it strange, cause it is just the lower side of the range it is supposed to allow.

Recently I took photo in RAW with ISO 640, f2.8 66mm 1/200 sec and here is what I got:

ISO 640, f2.8 66mm 1/200 sec

Now when I try to edit it and bring more light, I get:

So, what am I doing wrong here? May be something in the camera settings?

I expect the camera to perform much better, but I assume that I am the bug between the chair and the keyboard
